Romantic comedy series about god who meddles in young love launches on March 18

The official website of Shueisha's Margaret magazine revealed last week that manga creator Ayumi Komura will launch a new manga titled Kami-sama no Ekohiiki (Favoritism of the Gods) in the magazine's next issue on March 18. The manga's first chapter will have a color opening page and will be 56 pages long.

The magazine teases a story about a god who has too much free time and meddles in a pure young man's love.

Komura ended her 17-volume cross-dressing shōjo manga Usotsuki Lily (Liar Lily) in May 2014, after a five-year run. Komura launched a spinoff of the manga digitally on the Margaret Book Store in December.

Komura launched the Full Dozer manga in December 2014, and ended the series in August 2015 before launching Mori no Takuma-san in October 2015. Shueisha published the fourth and final volume of Mori no Takuma-san in November.

Viz Media published Komura's Mixed Vegetables manga in print and digital forms in North America. The American Library Association's Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) division listed the first Mixed Vegetables volume among the "great graphic novels for teens" published in 2009.
