Boy apprentice healer journeys to restore memories of girl trapped in a bottle

The official website for Happy Elements' Merc Storia -Yujutsushi to Suzu no Shirabe~ smartphone role-playing game announced on Wednesday that an anime adaptation of the game has been green-lit.

The fantasy strategy role-playing game is set in a world where humans and monsters co-exist. In the main story, a boy apprentice "Yujutsushi" (healer), with the power to heal those who clash, embarks on a journey to restore the memories of his friend Merc, a girl trapped in a bottle. The game then expands with different event stories in each country.

The game's staff will annouce more details on the anime in the future. The game is celebrating its fourth anniversary on Wednesday with various campaigns. In addition to launching in Japan for iOS and Android devices, the game is also expanding in other Asian countries.
