Toriko's Shimabukuro Pens New 'Build King' 1-Shot

Shueisha announced during an event on Monday that Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro (Toriko) will publish a new one-shot manga titled "Build King" (pictured right) in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine's combined 21st and 22nd issue on April 23.

In addition, Shueisha announced that Ryū Fujisaki's new Hoshin Engi short will debut in Weekly Young Jump's combined 21st and 22nd issue on April 26.

Shueisha also announced that Yū Sasuga and Kenichi Tachibana will resume their Terraformars manga in the combined 21st and 22nd issue of Weekly Young Jump on April 26. The manga has been in on hiatus since March 2017, while story creator Sasuga recuperates from unspecified health issues. Weekly Young Jump previously revealed that the manga will resume in April.

Shimabukuro previously published a one-shot manga titled "Chingiri" in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine as well as the one-shot gag manga titled "Warai no Ōji Penpenpen" (Prince of Comedy Penpenpen) in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine last April. He also published the "Jijī 100%" (Old Man 100%) and "Halftime" one-shots in Weekly Shonen Jump last September.

Shimabukuro ended his Toriko manga in November 2017. The manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2008 and inspired a 147-episode television anime series in 2011-2014.
