Heaven's Lost Property's Suu Minazuki Ends Dokunie Cooking Manga on March 8

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga about elf who constantly tries to convince monster to eat her launched in 2017

This year's fifth issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine revealed on Friday that Suu Minazuki will end the Dokunie Cooking (Cooking Poisoned Offerings) manga in the magazine's next issue on March 8.

The comedy manga centers on a beautiful but poor elf girl named Pepopa, who was chosen by some villagers to serve as the sacrificial offering to appease a local monster. When the monster tried to eat her, it found her feet too smelly and spat her out. This leads Pepopa to try various methods to get the monster to eat her, but she constantly fails.

Minazuki launched the manga in Young Animal in October 2017. Hakusensha published the manga's second compiled book volume last September, and will ship the third volume on February 28.

Minazuki's Sora no Otoshimono (Heaven's Lost Property) manga inspired two television anime series, two anime films, and an OVA.

Tokyopop, and later Viz Media, published Minazuki's five-volume Judas manga in English. Yen Press released Minazuki's four-volume Gou-dere Sora Nagihara manga in 2014-2015.

Minazuki launched the Plunderer manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in December 2014. Kadokawa published the 11th volume last November, and will publish the 12th volume on March 26. Yen Press licensed the manga in North America, and the manga is inspiring an upcoming an anime adaptation.
