Voice Actor Yuzuru Fujimoto Passes Away at 83

Agency 81 Produce announced on Monday that voice actor Yuzuru Fujimoto passed away due to heart failure on June 10. He was 83.
Fujimoto was undergoing medical treatment in the hospital when he passed away. According to his family's wishes, his family held a private funeral.
Fujimoto has voiced roles in such anime as Appleseed (Uranus), Gigantor (narrator), and Mister Ajikko (Genjirō Murata). His other major roles include: Dakuan (Ninja Scroll), Terukichi Miyata (The Sound of Waves), Zero (Apocalypse Zero), Sekiun (Sword for Truth), Kojima (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team), Kaidou Yoshimitsu (LBX), Sōichirō Ryūzaki (Aim For The Best! 2), and Daisuke Endō (Inazuma Eleven), among many others.
Fujimoto voiced roles in more than 200 anime. He also voiced roles in several Metal Gear Solid games, and voiced Japanese dubs in foreign animated and live-action series.
