WEBTOON Entertainment revealed the latest additions to its library of reimagined Western comics on Thursday, announcing the upcoming launch of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin and Cyberpunk 2077 in partnership with IDW Publishing and Dark Horse Comics, respectively. The announcement was made during the "Page to Pixel" panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

TMNT: The Last Ronin will debut on the platform on August 23, newly reformatted for WEBTOON's signature vertical scroll format. The story follows the journey of a lone surviving Turtle on a quest for justice in a dystopian future, seeking to avenge the family he lost. The launch builds on WEBTOON's existing partnership with IDW, which already includes titles such as Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Beneath the Trees.

Meanwhile, Cyberpunk 2077 will be the first title to launch from WEBTOON's expanded partnership with Dark Horse Comics. Set in the neon-soaked streets of Night City, the series brings the gritty cyberpunk world to WEBTOON's mobile-native format for the first time. The series premieres on August 8.

These announcements are part of WEBTOON's broader initiative to bring iconic comics and manga to a new generation of readers through vertical scroll adaptations. So far this year, WEBTOON has introduced a range of reimagined titles from publishers including IDW, Dark Horse, and Saturday AM, as well as popular Japanese manga like Fullmetal Alchemist.
