MAGES. Reveals Gekisō! Band Star Switch Music Game for Winter Release

Japanese game developer MAGES. revealed on Thursday that it is developing a new game titled Gekisō! Band Star. The game will launch for the Nintendo Switch this winter. MAGES. describes the game as a music game for up to four players where players can play guitar, bass, drums, and keyboard, but did not reveal details about the game's mechanics.

The game's website notes that the game will have popular songs from various artists such as YOASOBI, AKB48, Omoinotake, and more. The site lists songs (some of which are from different artists from the three named earlier) such as "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born," "Idol", "Mela!," "Ao no Sumika," "Samurai Heart (Some Like It Hot!!)," "Ikuokukonen," "FREEDOM," "Apollo," "Koyoi no Tsuki no Yō ni", "Koisuru Fortune Cookie," and "Blue Bird."
The game will have a playable demo available at Happinet's Tokyo Game Show booth. Tokyo Game Show will take place at Makuhari Messe on September 25 to 28.
