New Kids'WB lineup

BURBANK, CA (August 26, 2004) — Kids' WB!, the #1 network in Tweens 9-14 and Male Tweens 9-14, and the #1 broadcast network in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11, announced its new Fall schedule with two new animated series and seven returning hit series to kick-off the 2004-2005 season. The new Saturday morning schedule will launch on Saturday, September 11 (8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. PT). The premiere morning will be highlighted by the “Kids' WB! Bat-Tastic Sweepstakes,” offering kids the chance to win one of a thousand prizes throughout the morning. On Monday, September 13, the weekday line-up will premiere, continuing to bring exciting adventures five-days-a-week to Kids' WB!

The two new series joining Kids' WB!'s Fall schedule include an all-new take on the Dark Knight in The Batman and the hip-hop sci-fi comedy-adventure Da Boom Crew. Kids' WB! favorites returning to the schedule with all-new episodes include the next installments of top-rated series Pokémon: Advanced Challenge and Yu-Gi-Oh!, along with Jackie Chan Adventures, Xiaolin Showdown, Teen Titans and the newly retitled ¡Mucha Lucha! Gigante.

THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED KIDS' WB! PREMIERE BEGINS: Saturday, September 11, as Kids' WB! teams up with Mattel® to give away a thousand new Batman Batwave TV Activated (VEIL) toys during the “Kids' WB! Bat-Tastic Sweepstakes.” Each hour kids will be invited to locate the “Bat Gadget” on-air in order to be eligible to win. Once the viewer knows the “Bat Gadget,” kids may enter by logging onto www.KidsWB.com or by sending in a postcard. Winners will be awarded with a Batwave™ TV Activated Batlink™ communicator or a Batwave™ TV Activated Batmobile™ vehicle. The toys feature VEIL technology, which links the Batmobile and the BatWave directly to The Batman.

KIDS' WB!'S TOP-RATED SCHEDULE INTRODUCES TWO NEW SERIES AND HIGHLIGHTS RETURNING FAVORITES WITH ALL-NEW ADVENTURES: Beginning Saturday, September 11, the new Saturday morning slate launches at 8:00 a.m. ET with the fifth season of Jackie Chan Adventures packed with action-comedy-adventure and finding Jackie and the J-Team's hold on the dark forces starting to unravel when Shendu's teenaged son, Drago, escapes from the Section 13 slammer. The irreverent comedy ¡Mucha Lucha! Gigante (8:30 a.m. ET) is back with a new title and for its third season – bigger and better – as the three Mascaritas – Rikochet, Buena Girl and The Flea – remain focused on learning the fundamentals of Lucha Libre…Honor, Family, Tradition…and, of course, Donuts!

Teen Titans (9:00 a.m. ET) returns with the hip, young breed of superheroes for its second season of video game playing and high-flying adventures. Last season's other breakout hit Xiaolin Showdown (9:30 a.m. ET) also returns for its second season as the four young monks continue to protect themselves, the powerful Shen Gong Wu and the world from evil…and challenge any and all – including a brand new supervillain – to more Xiaolin Showdowns!

This Fall the saga continues with the next evolution of the popular animé-adventure Pokémon: Advanced Challenge (10:00 a.m. ET), following Ash and Pikachu as they continue their journey through the Hoenn Region as Ash strives to become the ultimate Pokémon trainer. The highly anticipated new animated series The Batman (10:30 a.m. ET) picks up Batman's story in year three: in his mid-twenties, just finding his way as protector, defender and Caped Crusader, while balancing his public persona as billionaire bachelor Bruce Wayne and meeting the classic Rogue's Gallery villains for the first time.

Animé-hit series Yu-Gi-Oh! returns with its latest installment and fourth season all-new adventure. Da Boom Crew (11:30 a.m. ET), a new hip-hop sci-fi animated series, follows the intergalactic adventures of four orphans who are transported into a parallel universe that strangely resembles the video game world they've created.

On Monday, September 13, Kids' WB!'s Monday-Friday line-up will premiere, while continuing to bring more action, comedy and adventure with Jackie Chan Adventures (3:00 p.m. ET/PT), the irreverent comedy ¡Mucha Lucha! (3:30 p.m.), the evergreen animé-hit Pokémon (4:00 p.m.) and the smash-hit Yu-Gi-Oh! (4:30 p.m.).

Also returning to Kids' WB! during the season will be What's New Scooby-Doo? Join the lovable canine Scooby, the always-hungry Shaggy, Velma, Daphne and Fred, as the mysteries will be filled with even more unique suspects and villains. In a thrilling interactive twist, viewers will get the chance to help crack the case as each episode will end "unsolved” and kids will be able to go online to guess "whodunit" at www.KidsWB.com. The much-anticipated reveal will be aired the following week – along with the names of crime-solving viewers who guessed right!
