Heat reached Oricon's Top 10 ranking chart in its first week. The CD features the anime theme songs "Brain Diver" from Phi-Brain - Puzzle of God and "Scarlet Ballet" from Aria the Scarlet Ammo. May'n also performs the Kamen Rider Fourze live-action special-effects series' theme "Giant Step" with Yoshiharu Shiina on the album.

If you... includes some of the artist's anime, video game, and film theme songs such as "Ready! Go!" from Okami-san and Her Seven Companions, "Moshimo kimi ga Negau no Nara" from Valkyria Chronicles 3 : Unrecorded Chronicles, and "Shinjitemiru" from Incite Mill - 7 Day Death Game.

The single CD of May'n's Accel World opening theme song "Chase the world" will ship in Japan on May 9 and also be available on iTunes in the United States on May 16. May'n will perform in Los Angeles on June 21 and in San Francisco on June 23 as part of her "Rock Your Beats" world tour.

The singer became known for her performances as the Macross Frontier anime's "Galactic Fairy" idol Sheryl Nome. May'n has contributed theme songs to anime such as Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings 2, Romance of Three Kingdoms, and Lovege Chu - Miracle Seiyū Hakusho. She appeared at the 2010 Anime Expo convention in Los Angeles. An English-language Twitter account for the singer was reopened in March.
