posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
PSP game's free demo delayed to September 9

Imageepoch is currently streaming a promotional video for the Sol Trigger PlayStation Portable game. The video features game animation produced by the studio J.C. Staff and the theme song "Continue?" performed by the band BYEE the ROUND. Immageepoch also revealed on Thursday that the game's free demo is being delayed from July to September 9.

The game's official website is also streaming two more character videos for Fran (played by Chiwa Sato), and Farel (Kōsuke Toriumi). The company previously posted character videos for Gustaf (Kenta Miyake), Sophie (Ami Koshimizu), Ema (Kana Hanazawa), Valter (Tomokazu Sugita), Istvan (Akio Ohtsuka), and Littler (Miyuki Sawashiro).

Imageepoch is also streaming two videos highlighting the game's battle gameplay.

Sol Trigger will include turn-based battles and multiple difficulty modes. The game's story centers on warriors who release their souls and make miracles. The artist Shuji Sogabe (God Eater, Persona 3, Persona 4 manga) is designing the characters based on the original scenario by Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts). The disc version of Sol Trigger will cost 6,279 yen (about US$78), while the downloadable version will cost 5,600 yen (US$70).

Imageepoch will release the game for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on October 4 after delaying the game from its original release date of August 30.
