Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imōto ga Iru! Anime's TV Ad Streamed

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Series based on Hajime Taguchi's romantic comedy light novels to premiere on July 6

A new commercial for the Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imōto ga Iru! (NAKAIMO - My Little Sister Is Among Them!) television anime series aired during the final episode of Sankarea on Thusday. The series will premiere on TBS on July 6 at 1:55 a.m.

Takahiro Sakurai will star in the series as Shōgo, and Kaori Ishihara, Ayane Sakura, Ayana Taketatsu, Asuka Ōgame, and Rina Hidaka will voice the five female leads. Those five voice actresses will also sing the ending theme song "Heavenly Lover." StylipS' will sing the opening theme "Chōose me ♥ Darling."

Hajime Taguchi's original light novels are inspiring the television anime series. The original light novels center around Shōgo Mikadono, the son of an industrial magnate named Kumagorō Mikadono who passed away. As a final wish, Kumagorō gave Shōgo a condition before Shōgo can inherit the family legacy — find a female mate at school. Shōgo transfers into a school to fulfill that condition. However, he learns that he has a younger sister who was separated at birth. He does not know what his long-lost sister looks like, but she happens to be one of the students at his new school.

Taguchi launched the light novel series in 2010, and the sixth volume shipped in March. Munenori Nawa (R-15, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu) will direct the series, and Go Zappa (Chocotto Sister, Koihime Musō) will be responsible for the series scripts. Kenichirou Katsura (Macross 7, ToHeart2) is adapting the original novel illustrations by CUTEG (Kokoro Connect manga) for animation. Katsura is also the chief animation director for the project at Studio Gokumi (Oda Nobuna no Yabō, Koe de Oshigoto!).
