The BS11 television channel aired a new commercial on Thursday for Tamako Market, the upcoming television anime from the main staff of K-ON!. Aya Suzaki narrates the new 30-second ad, which features her character Tamako working at her family's mochi shop.
Suzaki (Bakuman., Manyū Hiken-chō, To Love-Ru -Trouble- Darkness) will play the title heroine Tamako Kitashirakawa, a high-school freshman who is cheerful, spirited, and kind to others. She is the mochi-loving daughter of a mochi shopkeeper in the shopping district and a baton club member. Other main cast members include Rina Hidaka (Inu X Boku Secret Service's Ririchiyo Shirakiin, Ro-Kyu-Bu!'s Airi Kashii) as Anko Kitashirakawa, Atsushi Tamaru (Jewelpet Kira☆Deco—!'s Granite) as Mochizō Ōji, and Yurie Yamashita (Shangri-La's Yuuka Yamazaki) as Shiori Asagiri.
Additional cast members include Daisuke Ono as Kaoru Hanase, Kouji Tsujitani as Kunio Yaobi, Kyousei Tsukui as Chōji Yumoto, Kumiko Watanabe as Fumiko Mitsumura, Hiroshi Yanaka as Nobuhiko Tokiwa, Ken Narita and Yōko Hikasa as Takashi and Mari Uotani, Yoshihisa Kawahara as Tomio Shimzu, and Naoya Nosaka as Tadanao Shiraki.
