Sailor Moon Concert to Feature Momoiro Clover Z, Shokotan

Halko Momoi, Tommy heavenly6, more also participate in 20th anniversary tribute album

A concert is being held at the Zepp Tokyo venue on February 27 in celebration of the upcoming release of the Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon: The 20th Anniversary Memorial Tribute album, which is scheduled to be released on January 29. The concert will feature Shoko Nakagawa (Occult Academy, Gurren Lagann), Mitsuko Horie (voice of Sailor Moon's Sailor Galaxia, Candy Candy theme song performance), Momoiro Clover Z (Bodacious Space Pirates, Joshiraku) Haruka Fukuhara Cookin' Idol Ai! Mai! Main!), Makoto Kawamoto (Rurouni Kenshin), Tommy heavenly6 (Soul Eater, Gintama), Mariko Goto x Ave-chan (Ziyoou-vachi), and Halko Momoi (Lovedol ~Lovely Idol~. My Bride is a Mermaid). These artists will also appear on the CD, but the final artists to sing such songs as “Otome no Policy” (Maiden's Policy) and Moonlight Densetsu (Moonlight Legend) have not been announced.

  • Only users of the Shidax restaurant karaoke stores will have the ability to apply for the chance to attend the concert. Customers will be able to apply until February 9.

    The female idol group Momoiro Clover Z confirmed during the Sailor Moon 20th Anniversary Event in August that the new Sailor Moon anime will stream worldwide simultaneously this winter. The adaptation was announced last summer and slated to premiere this summer but was delayed. Kodansha USA's general manager Dallas Middaugh confirmed at New York Comic Con that the new Sailor Moon anime will stream on Niconico around January, and added that it will be subtitled in 10 languages.
