Love Tyrant/Renai Bōkun Anime's 15-Second Ad Streamed

Anime premieres Thursday in Japan, streams on Crunchyroll

The official website for Love Tyrant, the anime adaptation of the television anime adaptation of Megane Mihoshi's Renai Bōkun (The very lovely tyrant of love) manga, began streaming a new commercial on Tuesday. The video previews the opening theme song "Koi? de Ai? de Bōkun Desu!" by the Wake Up, Girls! voice actress and idol group.

The show will air in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 6 late at night at 2:35 a.m. (effectively on April 7), and will then air on BS Japan and AT-X. An advance screening and talk show will be held at United Cinema Toyosu on April 2. Crunchyroll will stream the series.

The cast includes:

Atsushi Nigorikawa (Anime De Training! Ex) is directing the series at EMT Squared (Kumamiko, Nyanko Days). Natsuko Takahashi (Long Riders!, My Love Story!!) is in charge of series composition, and Mariko Ito (ViVid Strike!, Log Horizon) is designing the characters. Miyako Yatsu (Flowers of Evil, The Legend of the Legendary Heroes) and Jun'ichi Kitamura (Kuma Miko: Girl Meets Bear, Rewrite animation director) are serving as chief animation directors. monaca (Wagnaria!!, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) is composing the music.

Smiley inc., a unit made up of voice actress Yuka Ōtsubo and creator Yuuyu-P, are performing the ending theme song "'Suki' wo Oshiete."

The romantic comedy begins when Guri, an angel with a mysterious item that turns any two people who kiss into a couple, appears before a high school boy named Seiji Aino. However, there is a yandere high school girl named Akane who loves Seiji.

Mihoshi has been serializing the manga on the free manga website Comic Meteor since May 2012. Holp Shuppan published the manga's 10th compiled book volume in December, and will publish the 11th volume on April 11.
