Mayu Sakai Launches Romantic Comedy Manga on June 3

The June issue of Shueisha's Ribon magazine revealed on Friday that Mayu Sakai will launch a new manga titled Aimai Blue Beast (Ambiguous Blue Beast) in the magazine's next issue on June 3.
The magazine teases the "traditional coming-of-age romantic comedy" manga's story about a high school girl who becomes classmates with her "oshi" or favorite idol.
Sakai's Hello, Innocent manga launched in Ribon in June 2020, and ended in August 2023. Shueisha published the manga's eighth and final compiled book volume in September 2023.
Sakai ended the Gunjō Reflection (Ultramarine Reflection) manga in September 2019. Sakai launched the manga in Ribon in October 2017.
Sakai's Sugar Soldier manga inspired an anime that aired in the Oha-Suta ("Good Morning Star") children's television program in 2014. The manga ran in Ribon from 2011 to 2015, and Shueisha published 10 volumes for the manga.
