NoisyCell Bassist Kiara Dies

Rock band performed themes for Barakamon, Death Parade, Mr. Tonegawa anime

The official X/Twitter account for the rock band NoisyCell announced on Sunday that the group's bassist Kiara (pictured leftmost in image at right) died on May 13.

The announcement did not mention a cause of death. A funeral was held for close family members only.

NoisyCell made their major debut in 2014, and then went on hiatus in November 2020. The group disbanded after holding a final performance in Tokyo on February 8.

NoisyCell performed ending theme songs for the Barakamon, Death Parade, and Mr. Tonegawa anime.

Kiara also appeared in the 2017 film Kiseki: Sobito of that Day.
