Kadokawa Publishes The Killer Cutie Next Door, Flirting with a Faux Tyrant in the Entertainment Biz, From Bullied to Brawler Manga in English

Kadokawa announced on Tuesday that it will release three manga in English on the BookWalker Global site and other stores this July.

Aitsu and Takao Aoyagi's From Bullied to Brawler: My After-Hours Education with the School’s Tough Girls (Hōkago wa Kenka Saikyō no Gyaru ni Tsurekomareru Seikatsu) series will release on the BookWalker Global site in chapter format on Monday.

Kadokawa describes the story:

Shiki entered St.Lukeman's Academy, a high school with a bad reputation. There are too many delinquents, and Shiki, who is shy and good at studying, got targeted by one of those groups. He had to obey orders made by Kawatou, the leader of the group but he thought it's better than being kicked and punched. One Saturday, Shiki helped a girl who was trying to get away from Kawatou's group. When he was beaten up, someone came to save him. It was Karin, the "Empress", the strongest and the most beautiful girl in his high school. The girl he helped was her friend! Karin told Shiki that she'll teach him how to fight. In return, he'll teach her how to study. Her lessons made Shiki stronger...will he become the strongest in the school some day?

Aitsu launched the series as a web novel in October 2022. Kadokawa shipped the third volume in April 2024. kakao illustrates the novels. Aoyagi launched the manga adaptation in Fujimi Shobo's Dragon Age magazine in February 2024. Kadokawa shipped the second compiled book volume on March 7.

Kadokawa will release Jay Katō's The Killer Cutie Next Door (Tonari no Koroshiya-chan) manga in chapter format on the BookWalker Global site on July 12.

Kadokawa describes the story:

Ako Yamada, once a member of the most fiendish organization of assassins "Orochi", is living as an ordinary girl working at the Piping Hot Bakery. As an assassin, she was evil, cold-blooded, cruel, scary. The epitome of a hitman! However, she was extremely clumsy when it came to normal life! She was struggling to live as a teen girl working at a bakery, for she had lived too many years in the underworld. When Nono Morino, a high school girl who loves urban legends, came to the bakery to check on the rumor that a hitman is living somewhere around here, Ako did her best not to look suspicious. But not only her but also the members of Orochi were after Ako. Can she live a peaceful life she had longed for many years?!

Kato launched the series in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine, as well as the Comic Walker platform in January 2024. Kadokawa shipped the first compiled book volume in August 2024.

Takarano Island's Flirting with a Faux Tyrant in the Entertainment Biz (Bijinesu Boukun to Mezasu Happiiendo manga will launch on the BookWalker Global site exclusively in chapter format on July 18, with other stores to follow. The first four chapters will be free to read during the first three months.

The story follows 30-year old office worker Misora Kikuna, who is the producer behind the otome game "Nanairo no tsuki" (Seven-Colored Moon). After a fatal run-in with an idol group's car, Misora is reincarnated into the world of "Nanairo no Tsuki" as the protagonist, and the most popular member of the idol group POLARIS7 is reincarnated as the prince.

Kato launched the series on the Comic Walker platform and Nico Nico Seiga in January 2024. Kadokawa shipped the second compiled book volume on November 14.
