Tail of the Moon's Rinko Ueda Launches New Manga

The September issue of Akita Publishing's Monthly Princess magazine announced on Wednesday Tail of the Moon manga creator Rinko Ueda will launch a new series titled Sakura to Ageha (Sakura and the Swallow Butterfly) in the October issue on September 5.

The series follows high school girl Sakura who, after drowning in the ocean, awakens in the Heian era. After slipping through time, she also finds historical figure Taira no Koremori of the Heike family before her.
Ueda launched the Himitsu no Juliet series in Shueisha's Monthly You magazine in May 2015. The series ended with the second volume in February 2016.
Ueda launched Maria no Shiro (Maria's Castle) in April 2014 and ended the series in February 2015.
Ueda is known for her manga titles Tail of the Moon and Stepping on Roses, both of which Viz Media published in North America.
