posted on by Joanna Cayanan

Shueisha's MANGA Plus service publishes the manga in English digitally and describes the story:
The Japan under-15 rugby team—nicknamed the Perfect Squad—shattered the power balance of high school rugby after sweeping the world cup. With so many former Perfect Squad members in their home prefecture, Rikuzen High's rugby team has given up all hope of victory and now takes a laid-back approach to training. Enter first-year and rugby novice Kinzan Yamada. He may be new, but he's ready for the world of rugby. The question is whether they're ready for him...
The manga launched on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website in September 2023. Shueisha will publish the manga's sixth compiled book volume on September 4, and the seventh volume on October 3.
The manga debuted in English simultaneously as it launched in Japan. After the manga debuted in English and there was a backlash on social media about the quality of the lettering, MANGA Plus released a new version of the first chapter, with the typesetting changed, and the manga's translator Mei Amaki credited as letterer and editor alongside AI localization company Orange Inc. and Media Do. The manga's 65th and latest English chapter credits Studio Mikan for translation and lettering, and Studio Mikan and Media Do for editing.
