Kaji Kengo, Hinden Hidaka Launch Mrs. Akechi Manga

This year's 42nd issue of Kodansha's Morning magazine revealed on Thursday that Kengo Kaji and Hinden Hidaka launched a new manga titled Mrs. Akechi in the Morning two online magazine on Thursday. The first two chapters of the manga are now available. Kaji is writing the manga, and Hidaka is drawing the art.
The manga is based on famous Japanese classic mystery writer Rampo Edogawa's Kogoro Akechi character, and reimagines the character's wife Fumiyo. The erotic suspense manga's story begins with the disappearance of Kogoro Akechi, and the beginning of a series of serial murders of women. On the case is Akechi's wife Fumiyo, who hides a past of having been raised by a serial killer called the "Magician."
Viz Media previously published Kaji's Lycanthrope Leo manga. Kaji also wrote Madhouse's Wolverine and Iron Man: Rise of Technovore anime.
