Anime streaming service Crunchyroll announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Olympic track & field gold medalist Noah Lyles and sportswear company adidas for a line of anime-inspired apparel.

Following the announcement, Lyle created a short post thread about the collaboration, including a video with the caption, “The Worlds Fastest anime fan X @Crunchyroll. Merch out now.” The track and field phenom noted that the tie-up all began with a message from a Crunchyroll employee, sharing an art piece of Lyles by an affiliated artist.

In a Crunchyroll press release, Lyles said, “Anime has always been part of how I see the world. When I'm on the track, I channel the same energy as the heroes I grew up watching. Their determination, their style, their fight to push beyond limits; this collab is my way of sharing that love with fans everywhere. We built something that's fast, bold, and full of anime spirit.”

Kristin Hamilton, Crunchyroll Senior Vice President, Head of Global eCommerce & Direct to Consumer, expressed a similar sentiment: “Anime is a universal language of passion, drive, and resilience. Noah embodies those same qualities every time he steps on the track. This partnership is about celebrating that connection: how anime inspires people to push past limits, express themselves, and carry that energy into every part of life.”

The collaboration apparel includes two t-shirts, a hoodie, and a hat. The apparel is currently available on the Crunchyroll Store online. Prices range from US$35 to US$70.
