Naver Webtoon Launches Anti-Drug Awareness Series Death Point

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety in Korea has partnered with Song Ga and Eunso, the creators of the webtoon Checkpoint, to produce a new webtoon titled Death Point aimed at raising awareness about drug misuse. The series premiered on Naver Webtoon on Friday.
Death Point is an action thriller spin-off of Checkpoint. It follows a protagonist with the ability to travel back to stored points in time, using this power to confront dangers — including the consequences of drug abuse.
The story begins with the main character's death from drug overdose at a party. As they retrace the events leading to their demise, the narrative highlights the dangers of medical narcotics and dispels myths such as “study pills” that promise instant academic success. Alongside its suspenseful storyline, the webtoon emphasizes the true meaning of achievement while encouraging young readers to approach drugs with caution.
Both Checkpoint and Death Point do not currently have English releases.
