Kojima Productions, Konami's Metal Gear Solid Team Are Both Hiring New Staff
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Both Konami's official website and Hideo Kojima's newly founded Kojima Productions studio announced on Wednesday that they are hiring new staff.
Konami is hiring new staff for work on a new Metal Gear title, and is currently seeking applicants who have experience in planning and development of high end games.
Kojima Productions has positions open for artists, programmers, game designers, and sound designers.
Kojima Productions was initially the name of a Konami subsidiary managed by Kojima that worked primarily on his Metal Gear Solid franchise. Under Konami, it underwent a name change to Kojima Productions Los Angeles, and then Konami Los Angeles Studio, before Konami finally closed it. Kojima officially left Konami after his contract expired on Tuesday.
Kojima Productions and Sony are collaborating on a new PlayStation 4-exclusive title.
The rights for the Metal Gear Solid series remain with Konami.
