I am a Hero's Kengo Hanazawa Launches New Manga Next Spring

posted on 2017-12-14 04:00 EST by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The combined second and third 2018 issues of Kodansha's Young Magazine revealed on Monday that Kengo Hanazawa will debut a new manga in the magazine in spring. The magazine revealed art from the manga (pictured far left), with the text "Do you know about the existence of those who are hidden?"

Hanazawa also has a manga planned for Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior.

Hanazawa launched the I am a Hero manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine in 2009, and ended the series earlier this year with 22 volumes. The manga inspired two spinoff series. A live-action film adaptation opened in Japan in April 2016. Dark Horse Comics is releasing the manga in North America.
