KONOSUBA - God's blessing on this wonderful world! Anime Film Opens in 2019

The official Twitter account for the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko imprint posted a picture on Saturday featuring the 15th volume of Natsume Akatsuki's KONOSUBA (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! or KonoSuba – God's blessing on this wonderful world!!) light novel series. The wraparound jacket band featured on the novel announces that the previously revealed anime film project will open in 2019. The novel will officially ship on November 1.
Takaomi Kanasaki is returning from the previous two anime seasons to direct the film at J.C. Staff (Studio DEEN animated the two TV anime series). Makoto Uezu is returning to write the scripts, Koichi Kikuta is returning to adapt Kurone Mishima's original character designs for animation, and Masato Kōda is returning to compose the music. The film will also feature a returning cast.
The novels inspired two television anime seasons. The first season premiered in January 2016, and the second season premiered in January 2017. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired in Japan.
Yen Press is releasing the original light novels as well as Masahito Watari's manga adaptation in English.
