Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 01

The Net is vast and deep...
No surprise this was coming. Bandai practically announced it before the first storyboards were laid out. The name "Ghost in the Shell" is a big one in the anime community. So it's finally here. From what I've seen of the series it's considerably toned down from the movie in terms of nudity and violence but there are some scenes that may be over the line even for Adult Swim. That will all depend on how loose the standards have gotten since the block made its debut. Anyway with the DVD's available I'll be tracking whatever edits are made. And for the benefit of those without the proper upgrades they will not be digitally encoded.

1) Bateau's "shit" muted out with a grunt as he chases down the geisha robot controller.
2) ED sequence speeded up and shortened.
I must commend AS for leaving the OP intact. It's a beautiful piece of work and deserves to be seen. I wish they had done as much for Fullmetal Alchemist.
