6.5 Ft Generation 1 Optimus Prime Statue Available for Only $30k

While fans have already had the chance to drop $13,000 for life-size Optimus Prime and Bumblebee statues, the newest offering from the Takara Tomy mall has the advantage of appealing to nostalgia, with a 2 meter (6.5 feet) tall Generation 1 Optimus Prime.

The statue will weigh in at 60 kg (132 lbs), and is made of fiber-reinforced plastics, steel core, and sheet steel.

Unfortunately, it also comes with quite a bit of sticker shock, with a retail price of ¥3,000,000, which is about $29,380 US. On the upside, you'll have the coolest toy out of all your friends.
