Start Your Day with a Real Schoolgirl Wake-Up Call

posted on by Eric Stimson

While electronic devices offer the experience of being aroused by a cute anime-style high schoolgirl, waking up to a real one has remained the province of dreams for some time. Now JKMorning offers such a prospect.

Its website is taking registration for a morning wake-up call from real high school girls. It claims that one-offs or regular calls are both possible. The girls will also be screened and must meet "certain standards." Payment will be handled through PayPal. It is also currently seeking girls to make the calls.

The service is sparking considerable attention on the Japanese Internet, much of it critical. The website is absent of important details like terms of service, the organization behind it, a fee system, or a Q&A section. It is also unclear how the site will use its customers' personal information, or when the service can begin. Despite discussion of these omissions and much snarky banter, several have already signed up and tweeted about it.

In an interview, Kantarō Suzuki, the man behind the service, was not surprised at how popular JKMorning already is. He said that he conceived of the idea while talking with his friends and had the website up only a week later. He also says that rates have not been decided and that he did not feel the need to post terms of service since money had not been handled yet. Suzuki assured the interviewer that measures would be taken to protect the girls and that he has plans to introduce a similar service involving boys in the future.
