Anime Expo Panel Sets Guinness Record for Most People Performing One Punch Man's Serious Punch

The One-Punch Man franchise announced on July 7 it had achieved the Guinness World Records for "the most people performing One-Punch Man's Maji Naguri/Serious Punch." The record was set with 1,107 people during the July 5 One-Punch Man panel at Anime-Expo:

ANN was onsite for the Guinness World Records challenge. Makoto Furukawa, the voice of Saitama, first yelled “Hissatsu Maji Series” followed by a three count, before Furukawa and those in attendance performed the Maji Naguri/Serious Punch.

Furukawa accepted the official certificate for the record, and stated “It's all thanks [to] all of you that we were able to achieve the Guinness World Records title! We continue on this momentum to work hard on Season 3 as well.”

One-Punch Man season 3 is set to premiere in October.
