Good Smile Racing Returns in 2016 with Art Director Shigeto Koyama

Good Smile Racing, the subsidiary company of Good Smile Company that sponsors the &TEAM UYKO Super GT 300 race &TEAM, unveiled the design for Racing Miku 2016, the Hatsune Miku design that will grace their vehicles and promo materials for the next year.

Shigeto Koyama (Gundam: Reconguista in G, Evangelion: 3.0) is overseeing the art direction. The design was illustrated by Mai Yoneyama (Kiznaiver character design, Little Witch Academia key animator). The costume design was decided via PiaPro submissions and votes. Design elements from the top choices were combined to get the end result.

The racing &TEAM will step behind a 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT3 to recapture the top spot they lost this year. The &TEAM narrowly took 2nd place in their final race. Formula One racer Ukyō Katayama will direct &TEAM members Nobuteru Taniguchi and Tatsuya Kataoka.
