Pokémon Learn How to Smile the Wobbuffet Way

Ditto has gotten a lot of love over the years. The Pokémon has its own expanding line of merchandise of its transformations; namely other Pokémon but with Ditto's flat expression. Its charm is in its simplicity. Meanwhile, another Pokémon with a recognizable face has been ignored. It's finally Wobbuffet's time to shine.
Pokémon Centers throughout Japan will introduce the "Minna de Sonans" (Everyone's Wobbuffet!) merchandise line on April 27. The line-up includes plush dolls, plush charms, can badges, t-shirts, pouches, small bags, clear files, hand towels, phone cases, acrylic keychains, socks, coffee mugs, and folders. The items all feature Wobbuffet or other Pokémon making the psychic creature's signature expression. So far participating Pokémon include Pikachu, Eevee, Ditto, Combee, and Audino.

Wobbuffet makes regular appearances in the Pokémon anime series as part of Team Rocket's roster. Jessie accidentally traded her Lickitung for it in the original series and it has stuck by her ever since.
