Sanrio's Puroland Theme Park Will Host Human-Mascot Wedding Ceremony

Sanrio's Puroland theme park is opening its doors to kawaii weddings. The park is hosting its first ever "Dream Wedding Ceremony" with between humans and Sanrio characters on June 10. The event will take place at the Fairyland Theater in Sanrio Puroland. Two lucky lottery winners, one a man and the other a woman, will exchange vows of eternal love with Cinnamoroll and Bad Badtzmaru. The couples will exchange rings that were created especially for the occasion.
The ceremonies will be witnessed by this year's Grand Prix winner Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel.
The whole event is a tie-in to the Alchemia Story smartphone game by Asobimo. The game launched its "Happy Wedding" event on May 29.
Sanrio's Puroland theme park has hosted all kinds of events amid its own mascot paradise. A mystery event starring Hatsune Miku, a stage reading of a yaoi novel, and a dance event featuring a rapping Frieza have all graced the stage.
