Creators of King's Maker Webtoon to Appear at Anime NYC Ahead of English Debut

Haga and Kang Jiyoung, the creators of the acclaimed BL webtoon King's Maker, will appear at Anime NYC to celebrate the release of the series' first English print edition. Inklore will release the first volume on August 26.
Set in a kingdom rife with political intrigue, King's Maker follows Wolfgang Goldenleonard, a rebellious prince forced into royal life after being raised as an orphan. His arrival at the palace draws the attention of Soohyuk Shin, the cunning son of the foreign minister and a reluctant favorite of the king. Together, they become entangled in a dangerous plot that could change the fate of the crown.
The first volume of Inklore's print edition of King's Maker includes exclusive bonus content such as a fold-out poster featuring the two leads.
Serialized between 2017 and 2023, the English version of the webtoon can be read on TappyToon.
Anime NYC will take place at the Javits Center in New York from August 21-24. Haga and Kang Jiyoung will appear at the event on August 23.
