Astro Boy Happy Meal Toys Coming to McDonald's

Not-So-Daily Link of the Day: The official American website for the McDonald's restaurant chain's Happy Meals has posted an interactive preview of the pack-in toys based on this week's Astro Boy film. From left to right, the children's toys are: the Astro Boy Launcher, Trashcan, Astro Boy Puncher, Peacekeeper, Astro Boy Flying, and Zog. David Bowers and IMAGI are adapting Osamu Tezuka 's Astro Boy manga about a young robot hero. The film opened in Japan last weekend, and it will open throughout North America on October 23 after preview screenings in New York City and Chicago.
McDonald's has been giving away Bakugan Battle Brawlers toys with Happy Meals before the upcoming Astro Boy promotion.
