Ayaka Ohashi to Perform Sabagebu! Opening Theme

The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of Hidekichi Matsumoto's Sabagebu! manga has announced that Ayaka Ohashi will perform the opening theme. Ohashi will also play the lead character Momoka Sonokawa in the series.
In addition, the five lead cast members will form the musical unit Gesukawa Girls to perform the ending theme. Ohashi will be making her artist debut with the opening theme song "YES!!," and the Gesukawa Girls' ending theme song is titled "Piti Pati Sabaibaado."
The July issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine is announcing on June 3 that the anime will premiere on Tokyo MX TV on July 6, and will also air on Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. An early screening of episode 1 will be held on June 28 in Tokyo.

Masahiko Ohta (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily) will direct the anime from scripts by Takashi Aoshima (Kotoura-san) at Pierrot Plus (Beelzebub, Tegami Bachi: Letter Bee). Masashi Kudo will design the characters.
The story of the original manga, which is running in Kodansha's Nakayoshi shojo magazine, revolves around Momoka Sonokawa, a girl who transferred into a certain girls' high school. The club she ended up joining at school was the "Sabagebu!," a club that conducts survival games.
