Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 3DS Game's New Video Lists Bonuses, New Date

posted on by Sarah Nelkin
Illya, Miyu, Rin, Luvia are all playable in July 31 game about collecting 7 cards in 7 days

Kadokawa began streaming an updated promotional video for the upcoming Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Nintendo 3DS game on Wednesday. The new video catalogs all the bonus extras in the game's limited edition and lists the latest release date.

The video teases the game's 3D battles with magical girls, as well as previews the wireless ad hoc mode which allows up to four players to fight against each other as Illya (voiced by Mai Kadowaki), Miyu (Kaori Nazuka), Rin (Kana Ueda), and Luviagelita (Shizuka Itou). When players collect Element Cards within the game, they can power up their magic, as well as learn new spells.

The story will be full-voiced, and will revolve around Illya, Miyu, Rin and Luvia, who must chase after seven Class Cards that scattered in Fuyuki City after they had captured them. The player is given a limit of seven days within the game to retrieve all seven Class Cards.

The game is scheduled to ship on July 31 in Japan after multiple delays. The game's limited edition pack with a super-deformed figure of Illya, an exclusive original voice CD, and a special Class Card with the anime's illustration of Rider will cost 8,800 yen (about US$88), while a normal copy will retail for 6,000 yen (about US$60). Customers who pre-order the game will receive a Prisma Illya strap with screen cleaners. The game was originally scheduled to ship last summer.

The magical girl anime Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya aired last summer, and a sequel anime, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, has been green-lit and will air in July.
