The official YouTube channel for Japanese game developer Atlus began streaming a character promotional video for the Persona 4's Yukiko Amagi and Yōsuke Hanamura for the upcoming PlayStation 3 port of the Persona 4 The Ultimax Ultrasuplex Hold arcade game, the sequel to Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena (Persona 4 Arena outside Japan).

    Yukiko: Pft... Hahaha! Naked cape!
Yukiko: Sanada-san...! What kind of cruel thing has happened to you!?
Yukiko: Welcome, Inaba girls! It's time for the Inaba quiz!
Yukiko: I'm going to go. I want to get some things off my chest anyway.
Yukiko: Huh? Ah... Sorry. I saw that bear, and I just felt so irritated.
    Yukiko: No way!? Adachi-san did...!?
Yukiko: That's not it... It's because I can do my best since my allies are beside me. I want to answer to their calls, and there are things I want to protet, so I can become stronger...
    Yukiko: Come, Konohana Sakuya!
Narrator: Bring me out to the ring! The impenetrable Snow "Black!" Yukiko Amagi!
Yukiko: What is this!? There's a red fog enveloping the entire town!?
Yukiko: You all, what is your goal!?
    Yukiko: I won't waver anymore, and I can't lose!
    Yukiko: Everyone, please be safe!
Yukiko: This is the final blow!
Yukiko: How was the temperature? I'll face off with you next.
Shadow Yukiko: If you're not my prince, then die.
Yosuke: Thanks for your purchase! Everyday's customer appreciation day at Junes!
Yōsuke: This again!? How much do they have to dig up a person's trauma until they're satisfied!? ...Wait, whoa!
Yōsuke: I didn't hear anything about it starting before midnight, and a countdown!? What is this, New Year's!?
Yōsuke: Don't screw around... I can't laugh at that at all...!
Yōsuke: Heh... It's not like I'm covering for this guy, but I can't leave my friends to die!
Yōsuke: I'm definitely going to stop him!
Narrator: "I'm going to become a giant hero with this boonies town as my steppping stone!" Captain Ressentiment! Yōsuke Hanamura!
Yōsuke: Hey hey, are the other places crazy like this too!? What the heck's happening this time!? Makes me remember bad things...
Yōsuke: I'm putting my life on the line when I'm fighting, you know!? I don't know who the culprit is, but keep quiet!
Yōsuke: I was pretty cool, right!? I didn't disappoint you, right!?
Shadow Yōsuke: You look ridiculous. I'm the hero.

The PlayStation 3 port of the arcade game will ship in Japan on August 28. First copies will come with a code to download extra scenario set for the game. Atlus will ship the game in North America this fall under the title Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

The story takes place only a few days after the events of Persona 4 Arena, when the town of Inaba is clouded in a shroud of red fog in which time is warped and people disappear. Inaba has almost become like the world inside the television. To add to it all, the members of the Persona 4 team find Mitsuru and Akihiko being crucified on the Midnight Channel. In front of the Inaba students appear Yukari and Junpei, members of the Shadow Worker unit who have come to the rural town in order to save their upperclassmen.

Atlus released the first Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena game in Japan last summer on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and Atlus USA released the game in North America.
