Atlus to release "song magic" 3DS game in 2015

Atlus USA announced on Tuesday that it will localize and publish Sega and Imageepoch's Stella Glow role-playing game for Nintendo 3DS in the Americas. The company plans to release the game in 2015.

Sega streamed a teaser trailer earlier this month:

The game takes place in a world of swords and magic, where a knight named Alto must recruit witches to defeat the Witch of Destruction Hilda. Gameplay will focus on witches who control "song magic," and will feature strategic battles on a 3D map that center on the witches who employ this magic. Battles will be fought from a quarter-view perspective.

Hideyuki Mizutani (Luminous Arc, Fate extra series) is producing the game, Dai Ōba (7th Dragon 2020-II) is directing, and Procyon Studio, Yasunori Mitsuda, and Shunsuke Tsuchiya are handling the sound. Makoto Shakadō, ideolo, and others are designing the characters.

  • Kousuke Toriumi as Klaus

  • Kento Hama as Dante
  • Atsumi Tanezaki as Dorothy
  • Yukari Tamura as Hilda

Sega will release the game on June 4 in Japan for 5,990 yen (about US$49).

The game will celebrate 10 years of the Imageepoch brand. Imageepoch trademarked the name "Stella Glow" in September. While Imageepoch announced the game as a solo venture in October, Sega will now publish the game.
