Halo Halo House Live-Action Philippine-Japanese Series' Teaser Streamed

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Series co-produced by PTV, Nippon TV premieres on Saturday on PTV4

The staff of the Halo Halo House live-action Philippine-Japan drama began streaming a teaser for the show on Monday. The video reveals the series' premiere on Saturday on PTV4 at 5:00 p.m.

The series will air every Saturday and Sunday on PTV4 at 5:00 p.m. PTV describes the series:

Jose can't seem to forget a certain Japanese girl whom he met as a kid in Manila. With nothing but three leads on how to find her, he winds up in Japan. All he knows is that she's from Aichi Prefecture and her name is Erika. The third lead is a handkerchief that brought their destinies together. With barely any money in Japan and at a loss on what to do, Jose has a chance encounter with a Japanese man who introduces him to a share house in Ichinomiya, where he ends up living.

Paul Alvin Magsalin will play the protagonist Jose. Anna Yuzuki will play Erika, Akihisa Shiono (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger) will play Hideto, and former AKB48 team captain Sayaka Akimoto (Garo: Makai no Hana) will voice the narrator.

The series is a co-production between Philippine government flagship station PTV and Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV.
