P.A. Works Reveals Kuromukuro TV Anime's Story, More of Cast & Staff, April Debut in New Video

Monday's live-streamed Niconico program for Kuromukuro, the 15th anniversary project of the studio P.A. Works, debuted a new character promotional video. The video reveals the anime's story and April premiere, as well as more of the characters, cast, and staff.

Asami Seto as Mika Ogino, Yukina's childhood friend and classmate
Kaito Ishikawa as Ryōto Akagi, Yukina's classmate whose father is the head of the laboratory's maintenance
Yūsuke Kobayashi as Jundai Kayahara, Yukina's classmate who is always walking around carrying a camera
Shunsuke Takeuchi as José Carlos Takasuka, Yukina's classmate who is half-Spanish, half-Japanese, but only speaks Japanese (with a Toyama accent)
Manami Sugihira as Marina Unami, a teacher at Yukina's high school
Momo Asakura as Koharu Shirahane, Yukina's little sister in third grade

Snow Grouse is credited with the original work. Tensai Okamura (Darker than Black, Blue Exorcist, Wolf's Rain, The Seven Deadly Sins) is directing the "mecha action" anime at P.A. Works. Ryou Higaki (Another, Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit) is handling the series composition, and Yuriko Ishii (Another, A Lull in the Sea) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director with Ayumi Nishibata. Tomoaki Okada (Darker than Black, Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet, Star Driver, Wolf's Rain) is credited with visual concepts and mecha designs.
Nobutaka Ike is directing the art, and Yu Wakabayashi is director of photography. Nobuko Mizuta is the color key artist. Kōsuke Haruta is directing the 3D with main 3D animator Motonari Ichikawa. Ayumu Takahashi is editing, and Kazuhiro Wakabayashi is directing the sound. Hiroaki Tsutsumi is composing the music at Pony Canyon. Infinite is producing.
The series will premiere in April on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and other channels.
