Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD Game's Video Reveals 2 New Songs

Japanese version to feature 2 free downloadable songs when game ships on August 25

The SEGA feat. Hatsune MIKU Project YouTube channel began streaming a promotional video for the Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD game on Thursday. The video reveals that the Japanese PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature two new songs, "Sharing the World" by BIGHEAD and "Hand In Hand" by Livetune.

The video previews about a minute and a half of each song, accompanied by gameplay footage. According to the description, both songs will be free to download once the game launches in Japan on August 25. The game will launch in the U.S. on the PS4 and PlayStation Vita on August 30.

In the rhythm action game, players help Miku and her friends perform across five clouds that make up their world. The game features 30 new and classic songs and almost 300 modules (costumes). The new Concert Editor feature lets players produce their own shows. As with the Japanese release, the Concert Editor's Live View mode will support PlayStation VR.

The PS4 version in the U.S. will cost US$49.99, and the PS Vita version will cost US$39.99. Pre-orders and launch day copies of the game will include a special Hatsune Miku pouch while supplies last. In addition to the physical release, both versions will have a digital release through the PlayStation Network.

Although the game's PS4 version will ship under the new title Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X HD in Japan on August 25, Sega will drop the "HD" from the title in the Americas. Sega released the game for the PS Vita in Japan on March 24.
