Results of May's character poll revealed

NIS America's official YouTube channel streamed a new trailer for the Touhou Gensou Rondo: Bullet Ballet game on August 5.

The trailer revealed the results of the character poll that NISA conducted in May. Players were given the option to vote on which character they'd most like to see added to the roster. The new trailer announced that Flandre won the poll, and has officially been added to the character list. The short video showcased Flandre's gameplay, featuring her in combat with other characters as well as her final spell.

Other choices from the poll were Mokou, Yukari, Tenshi, Koishi, Mamizou, Patchouli, Seiga, Yuka, Byakuren, and Reisen.

Touhou Gensou Rondo: Bullet Ballet will ship on September 6 in North America and September 9 in Europe for the PlayStation 4.

NISA is also offering a limited edition of the game that will include: a collector's box, an original soundtrack, a full-color hardcover art book, an art print set, a set of 12 pins, and bonus DLC.

NISA describes the game as follows:

Developed by CUBETYPE, Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet is a shoot 'em up that takes place in the Touhou universe. Select from 10 playable girls and dive straight into bullet-hell! Reminiscent of a fighting game, Touhou Genso Rondo takes the traditional shoot'em up genre and infuses it with a 1v1 battle scenario, allowing for a unique gameplay experience. Learn more about the Touhou characters in Story Mode as you progress through the game, blasting your opponent with a barrage of beautiful bullets. Or if you are feeling confident, jump into online battle mode and showcase your skills to players on PSN™.

Dōjin circle CUBETYPE originally released the game on PC, and Mediascape released the game on PS4 in Japan last June as part of its "Play, Doujin" project. The PS4 version comes with balance adjustments and a full HD upgrade, as well as additional scenarios, event CG, and characters.
