The official website for the Twin Star Exorcists anime announced on Saturday that the series is inspiring a PlayStation Vita game from Bandai Namco Entertainment. The release date has not yet been announced. The website posted a visual for the game (pictured right).
The battle and adventure game will have an original story featuring Rokuro and Benio. Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is also announcing the game on Saturday, and further clarifies that players can play as Rokuro and battle alongside a team of exorcists. The adventure part of the game will be voiced.
The Twin Star Exorcists anime based on Yoshiaki Sukeno's manga premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 6, and also airs on TV Osaka, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, TV Setouchi, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting. The series entered the anime-original "Rettō Ha Ran-hen" (Archipelago Battle for Supremacy Arc) on Wednesday.
Viz Media is publishing the original manga series in North America. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series as it airs, and also plans to release the series on Blu-ray and DVD with an English dub.
