Anime Festival Asia Convention to Hold Events in Indonesia, Singapore This Year

Singaporean events and marketing agency Sozo Pte. Ltd. announced the venues and schedules for its Anime Festival Asia convention this year. The company will hold an event in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 3-5, and an event in Singapore on November 30-December 2.
Last year, Sozo partnered with Japanese content company Sotsu Co., Ltd. to bring together the Sozo's Anime Festival Asia and Sotsu's C3 brand and events, holding events in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and an upcoming event in Hong Kong on February 11. The new events were branded as "C3 AFA" events, but the new events this year are not branded with the same name. The official website for C3 AFA Tokyo still bears the name, with an August 25-26 schedule.
Sozo organizes the Anime Festival Asia conventions, which are held annually in Singapore, and has also previously held events in Bangkok and Jakarta. It is one of the largest anime and Japanese pop-culture conventions outside Japan. 2015's Anime Festival Asia in Singapore drew 90,669 visitors. Aside from Anime Festival Asia and its attached I Love Anisong label, Sozo also owns JLive Asia, and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand.
