Ashly Burch Leaves Role of Mayuri in Steins;Gate 0 Simuldub

FUNimation Entertainment announced on Wednesday that Megan Shipman will replace Ashly Burch as Mayuri Shiina in its English simuldub of Steins;Gate 0. The company has not yet confirmed if Burch will return for the home video release.
Burch is also voicing Sasha in the third season of Attack on Titan this season, but Funimation noted that there are "so far" no plans to recast this role.
In a message, Burch explained that she will be unable to continue in the role of Mayuri due to scheduling impossibilities. She said she was "heartbroken" to make the announcement, and she apologized to fans for the change.
The English dub of Steins;Gate 0 premiered on Funimation's streaming service on April 30. Burch (under the pseudonym Jackie Ross) is reprising her role from the first Steins;Gate anime.
