C3 AFA Singapore Holds Revue Starlight Talk Event

The official website for Bushiroad's Shōjo Kageki Revue Starlight franchise announced on Wednesday that the franchise will have a talk stage event at the C3 AFA Singapore event. The site will announce the guests for the talk event at a later date.

The franchise consists of stage musicals, manga, and a 12-episode television anime. The first musical debuted in September last year, with a repeat performance in January. The second musical ran from October 13 to 21. The anime premiered on July 12, and all of the main cast members of the musicals voiced their characters again in the anime.

The story is set in Seisho Music Academy. In the academy, girls learn music, dance, acting, and other performing arts. Karen Aijō is a student in the academy, and along with seven other friends, they are trying to put together a production of Starlight, a famous tragic play. Everyone's life is upended when Hikari Kagura, Karen's long-absent childhood friend, returns as a student of Seisho. Karen and the other girls are suddenly thrust into a series of theatrical battles both real and symbolic to claim the title of "top star."

The Singapore event will take place from November 30 to December 2. Previously revealed musical guests include May'n, EARPHONES, Erii Yamazaki, GARNiDELiA, angela, Shiena Nishizawa, SPYAIR, Tielle&Gemie, TrySail, Kishida Kyōdan & The Akeboshi Rockets, Real Akiba Boyz, nano, Suzuko Mimori, and YURiKA. Eri Sasaki will also attend as a guest.

Last year, Sozo partnered with Japanese content company Sotsu Co., Ltd. to bring together the Sozo's Anime Festival Asia and Sotsu's C3 brand and events, holding events in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
