Series inspired live-action TV series in October 2016

Manga creator Aoi Ikebe ended the Princess Maison manga on Shogakukan's Yawaraka Spirits web manga site on Thursday with the 51st chapter.

The manga centers on Sachi Numakoshi, a single woman who goes around looking at model rooms, constantly dreaming and searching for her dream apartment.

Ikebe (Dobugawa - Our life is connected., Kagome Kagome, Saudade) launched the manga on Yawaraka Spirits in 2014. Shogakukan will publish the manga's sixth and final compiled book volume on January 11. The manga inspired an eight-episode live-action television series that premiered in October 2016.

The manga ranked 10th on the 2016 edition of Takarajimasha's Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook, and won the Special Award of Kodansha's Frau women's magazine's third Manga Awards in 2015.

Ikebe's Tsukuroi Tatsu Hito manga previously inspired a live-action film that opened in January 2015.
