Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru Manga Ends in April

Saru Hashino launched adaptation of TV anime spinoff in December 2016

The 28th chapter of Saru Hashino's Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website revealed on Thursday that the manga will end with its next chapter on April 4.

Hashino launched the manga in December 2016, and Shueisha published the manga's fourth compiled volume on December 4. Hashino also drew a five-volume manga adaptation of the Psycho-Pass 2 television anime.

The manga adapts the television anime series of the same name, which is part of DMM's overall Touken Ranbu franchise. The first season of Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru premiered in October 2016, and had 12 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the season as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English broadcast dub. The Zoku Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru. sequel series premiered in January 2018, and also had 12 episodes. Crunchyroll and Funimation both streamed the series as it aired.
