This year's 22nd issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine revealed on Friday that Riichirou Inagaki and Ryōichi Ikegami's Trillion Game manga will return from its hiatus in the magazine's next issue on November 14, and it will end in two chapters.

The manga last published a chapter in this year's 17th issue of Big Comic Superior on August 8, then went on hiatus starting on August 22.

Viz Media licensed the manga and published the seventh compiled book volume in English on September 16. Viz Media describes the story:

A charming sweet talker and a timid computer programmer team up with hopes of making a trillion dollars and getting everything they've ever wanted in this world!

Self-proclaimed “world's greediest man” Haru and timid computer whiz Gaku set out to make a trillion dollars. They start the company Trillion Game to accomplish this task and hope to iron out the details as they go. With charm, technical skills, and no business plan, can these unlikely friends reach their lofty goal?

After Haru and Gaku become the first Japanese people in the 21st century to be listed among the world's top-ten billionaires, Gaku reflects on when he and Haru met and the events that led to the founding of their company. What started as a middle school acquaintanceship builds to a fruitful and unorthodox partnership as the two progress on their ruthless path to success.

Inagaki (Eyeshield 21, Dr. Stone) and Ikegami (Crying Freeman) launched the manga in Big Comic Superior magazine in December 2020. The 10th volume shipped on February 14. The manga has more than 1.5 million copies in circulation. The manga won a Shogakukan Award in January 2024.

The manga's anime adaptation debuted in October 2024 and aired for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year). Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired.

The manga also inspired a live-action series adaptation that premiered on the TBS channel and its affiliates in July 2023. Ren Meguro from idol group Snow Man plays protagonist Haru Tennōji, while Hayato Sano plays Manabu "Gaku" Taira. Netflix is streaming the series. The series also got a live-action film that opened on February 14. The film features a returning cast.
