Live-Action PUNKS TRIANGLE BL Series Posts Trailer, More Cast

The official website for the live-action series of Yuho Okita's PUNKS TRIANGLE manga unveiled a new 15-second trailer, visual, and more cast members for the series on Wednesday.
The newly announced cast members include:
- Akiko Hinagata as Yoshie Nakano, a lecturer at Chiaki and Ai's fashion school
- Rui Kurihara as Naoki Murase, the manager at the second-hand clothing store where Chiaki works part-time
- Kiyotake Nakamura as Shō Saeki a supporter and hairdresser of Ai's who treats Ai like an older brother
- Mone Akitani, Masaki Himekomatsu, Yūha Okawa, Goshu Suzuki, and Rinta as Chiaki and Ai's classmates
The series will premiere on the Kansai region's Fuji TV channel on October 9 at 25:40 JST (effectively, October 10 at 1:40 a.m. JST). After the first episode, the series will air every Friday at 1:15 a.m. JST (Thursday at 12:15 p.m. EDT). The series will also stream on TVer and FOD streaming services in Japan.
The live-action Cosmetic Playlover series' staff reunite for the PUNKS TRIANGLE series. Takehiro Shindō is directing the series, Hiroko Kanasugi is writing the scripts, and Kōji Endō is composing the music.
Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the PUNKS TRIANGLE manga in English, and it describes the story:
Fashion student Chiaki dreams of seeing his designs on the runway, worn by none other than Ai—the charismatic male model who changed his life. When a prestigious competition promises to make that dream come true, Chiaki is fired up to win. But his hopes are dashed when he's paired with the clumsy and unfashionable Enaga for the project. One fateful night, after a run-in with some delinquents, Chiaki is unexpectedly saved by his idol Ai. Even more shocking, Ai seductively offers to teach him how to have fun at night…Caught between the alluring, mysterious model he worships and a clumsy, rough-around-the-edges classmate who can't seem to stay out of trouble (but may be hiding a surprising secret), Chiaki faces a heart-pounding, pure boy's love dilemma that will turn his world upside down!
The manga ran in Tokyo Mangasha's NUUDE web magazine from May to July 2022, and transferred to Shueisha's .Bloom web magazine in November 2022, where it ran until May 2023. The manga's one compiled book volume shipped in July 2023. Seven Seas Entertainment released the volume in English on April 15.
Okita launched the PUNKS TRIANGLE stitch sequel manga in .Bloom in September 2024.
Seven Seas Entertainment is also releasing Okita's Let Me See the Real You, Senpai! (Senpai, Naka Misete) manga in English, and will release the first volume on September 2.
